All our products are manufactured and tested under strict quality control guidelines set by the Pierre Fabre Group.

All of our formulas are compliant with current European legislation and have been clinically tested by dermatologists to ensure they provide excellent results of efficacy and tolerance.

All ingredients used by Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmétique Laboratories are on the list of ingredients authorised by the European legislation for use in cosmetic products.

The Pierre Fabre Group monitors the safety of each product marketed around the world in accordance with its own strict internal pharmaceutical quality and safety standards.

The European cosmetic legislation (directive 76/768/CEE amended 1th March 2003) requires manufacturers to use alternatives methods to test new raw cosmetic material and finished products.

In compliance with this directive, we stopped tests on animals many years ago.

In practice, to test our products to ensure that they meet our high quality and safety standards we use existing data concerning the safety of the specific ingredients used in the products.
The tolerance of our finished products is then verified by tests on healthy human volunteers.

Finally, we carry out physico-chemical and bacteriological tests to verify the identity on each batch of raw material delivered to our factories. The tests also confirm the purity and quality of the ingredients entering our formulas.
These types of tests are then carried out on each batch of finished products to guarantee the safety and quality of each and every product.

Parabens are a group of chemicals widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. They are used to ensure that moulds, fungi or bacteria will not contaminate a product. The concentration of parabens in cosmetics is very low, often less than 1%.

The AFSSAPS (Agence Française de Sécurité Sanitaire des Produits de Santé), a French government body regulating the safety of drugs, confirmed in its report Vigilances n° 30 (page 3) that the use of the main esters of paraben (the most commonly used parabens in cosmetics) does not pose any risk.

Please download the Cosmetovigilance questionnaire by clicking here. Fill it in and return it to us with the product you reacted to. We also suggest you print the list of ingredients of the product you reacted to and take it to your doctor for further evaluation.

Make-up removal is an essential part of any daily beauty regime. Not only will it remove make-up, but also the impurities and dust accumulated in the course of the day.
